I really liked this game at first, but I have been spinning my wheels completing challenge after challenge. When do I get to move on. I think Im about ready to move on to a new game.

Great puzzle game! Has building elements, and expands upon the original.
Lots of fun.
Just freemium enough to be RPG-like, and just puzzling enough to be enjoyably addictive. My new fav of the month.
This is a cool game
The first one by Chillingo was great. Addicting and game play would progress well. This one is much harder to progress and well....requires you to watch more ads. Which is really EAs model.
Too bad theres a limit of villages. Id keep playing, but theres nothing left to do. Maybe you should add more villages?!
Im stuck after the Pirates level with nothing to do except to go back to previous towns and do mini quests that repeat over and over and over again....
I really love this game and am so happy I found it! It can really hold my interest for sometimes hours at a time. One complaint: the destructive tiles (especially storms and sharks) make playing feel kind of distressing and futile. A squid will pop up right next to me and before I even have a chance to move, a shark gets it. Ever since sharks and storms appeared, I leave the sea having gathered 3-5 resources on a six-hold ship, when I used to get probably upwards of 15 on a four-hold. Its really frustrating.
As far as I know, Im the only player who has encountered a game-breaking bug involving the "pansy" flower item. Overall, this is a fun, time-wasting treadmill match game with great art and smooth animation. That said, Ive encountered a game-breaking bug that no one else has encountered -- the "pansy" flower never unlocked for me. Ive been on the swamp town for months and it remains locked (silhouette) next to the words "You can find this species in a new village." However, the "new village" can only be visited by getting a honeycomb, which requires the pansy. My friends who play this game acquired the item without any effort, and they are not even on the swamp town yet. It may seem unfair to knock off three stars due to a bug most people dont experience, but it has made this game a real disappointment to me.
Puzzle Craft 2 is a game that will take you a long time to play - if you play it sanely. If you play it insanely, you will speed through it quickly. This particular hamster wheel is not intended for long sessions. Its repetitious by nature, and intended for short gameplay sessions. You can multitask and turn your brain off while playing. Unfortunately, some of the tasks you have to perform to gain specific items (which you need to progress) are maddeningly unclear. For example, getting honeycomb requires a large amount of pansies, which require a large amount of apples, which you can only collect quickly/reasonably with golden items, which you can only get by spending crowns in a portal, which still gives you no guarantee you will get what you need. The game sometimes doesnt tell you which items unlock other items until after you unlock them - the above chain, for example, doesnt appear in a single web guide written for this game! And its been out a while. So turn off your brain as you play, but be aware that its convoluted item unlock system may frustrate you as you attempt to advance past your current town.
The game is great, just like the original, and has gone beyond the original in many ways. I just get bored with the same puzzles offered again and again... They couldve added something to the puzzle mechanics to keep it interesting... Instead, its just a bigger version of part 1.
I usually dont review games but when I do its because its an awesome game that deserves attention!
Ive had this game for a few months, and as of...a month ago?...I built all the buildings, unlocked all but three of the magical animals (I need 600+ runes to finish them), and beat the game. I loved the game while I still had a goal to work toward, but now its boring. Can we get a new town - or even new challenges in old towns - soon please?
Passes the time
Love match 3, love building cities/towns, happy & surprised to find the two together!
So much fun to collect all the different animals and food and trees! However Im now sure what to do after Ive reached the last town and beaten that. They only things I have left to discover are the ones you pay in runes and that kinda bums me out. :(
Lots of fun but repetitive.
