Puzzles? Not so much. Pay-as-you-go Sim, definitely.
This game was essentially described in the AppStore as a combination of Civilization, SimCity and an RPG replete with puzzles. After playing for a few days Ive concluded that it could be called SimWorld, "now with super expensive town halls!"
The only "puzzling" I saw revolved around how to come up with enough money to make any progress in the game. No matter how much you farm, that alone will never be sufficient to build your medieval kingdom.
I cant fault the graphics, controls, or the variety of available buildings, activities, and other items. In fact, the game is quite robust. It simply was not what I was looking for.
